behind the studio
Every day has the potential to be
your lucky day
The name Trece is deeply personal. I was born on the 13th of April, and the 13th was always said to be a lucky day in my family. Which meant every day had the potential to be one.
While 13 is often seen as an unlucky number, I have always experienced it differently. As something symbolic, full of meaning, and quietly powerful. Across cultures and traditions, 13 represents transformation, creation, and new beginnings. Those ideas sit at the heart of why this studio exists and how we approach every project.
We believe every brand has a story worth telling well. And that the best creative work starts not with aesthetics, but with understanding. Before anything is designed, we ask questions. We look for the meaning behind the business, the vision behind the founder, the feeling that should live in every touchpoint. That clarity is what makes the work last.

my background
I have always been drawn to beautiful, well-thought brandings. The kind that makes you wonder how someone thought to make it that way, and why it feels so right.
I studied Advertising and Branding with a concentration in Art Direction at SCAD. I loved the craft of campaigns, but I kept finding myself more interested in what came before them. The foundation. Because when a brand is built on something true, the campaign is the easy part. You are not figuring out how to sell. You already know what to say.
That instinct led me here. Because I have seen what happens on both ends: the brand that looks stunning but has nothing underneath it, the beautiful website nobody knows how to navigate, the genuinely great product that loses to a prettier competitor. Aesthetics without intention is decoration. Intention without aesthetics is invisible. The middle ground, where beauty, function, and meaning converge, is the only place I want to work. It is the problem I show up to solve every single day.
